Fall 2007 class registration information will be available online for new students on June 1, 2007. To access the online-only class schedule and your personal registration information, you will need to have an SDSU WebPortal account. To create an account, visit the WebPortal and follow the instructions to create a student account. You must have a working e-mail address to create an account. The class schedule can also be accessed at www.sdsu.edu/schedule.
Beginning June 1, 2007, go to the My Registration service within the WebPortal where you can view your registration access date and time, which is the first date and time that you can begin registering for classes. My Registration Info will also provide you with information about your fees, fee payment date, fee payment options, and possible registration holds. You must pay your fees and clear any holds before you can register for classes.
Registration fees (and tuition, if applicable) need to be paid by the Fee Payment Deadline date shown on your WebPortal account. To expedite the fee payment process, you may pay online by electronic check or credit card. Go to the Cashiers Office Web site and see Online Services. Other payment options may be found in the Class Schedule.
If you are eligible for a deferment (postponement of payment) because of a pending financial aid award, this will also be noted on your WebPortal account. You will be able to register for classes on the date specified on your WebPortal account and your registration fees (and tuition, if applicable) will be deducted from your first financial aid disbursement.
You cannot register for classes if there is a hold on your registration. If My Registration shows a registration hold, contact the appropriate office to get clearance. It can take up to 48 hours to clear a hold. Plan ahead.
Be sure to print, read and discuss the 6 Steps with your parents in order to get the most out of the information.
