Transfer Student Admission
Thank you for choosing SDSU! SDSU has separate criteria for students within and outside of SDSU's service area.
SDSU Service Area: High schools and community colleges in San Diego County that are located south of state route 56 and extending eastward AND Imperial County high schools.
Fall applicants must complete 50% of their transferrable credits by the end of the fall prior to admission (e.g. fall 2007 for fall 2008 applicants). Spring applicants must complete 50% of their transferable credits by the end of the summer prior to enrollment. The following community colleges are in SDSU's service area:
- Cuyamaca College
- Grossmont College
- Imperial Valley College
- San Diego Miramar College
- San Diego City College
- San Diego Mesa College
- Southwestern College
Outside SDSU Service Area: High schools and community colleges located north of state route 56 and extending eastward.
