How to Apply

First, follow the graduate steps to apply.

Then, submit to the School of Music and Dance by February 1:

  1. Two letters of reference
  2. A one-page statement of personal aims and goals
  3. Contact the music admissions coordinator, Shirley Valencia-Gutierrez, to schedule an audition on your primary instrument OR submit a DVD or CD prior to February 1

Do not send a partial packet. No applications will be reviewed until a complete packet has been received.

Fall 2013 Deadline   

Step 1: CSUMentor Application—March 1
Step 2 and 3: File Completion—April 1
