Presidential Scholars Program

The Presidential Scholars program is looking for high achieving students who have a commitment to serving their communities and who will lead their peers in transforming their tomorrow! This invitation-only program was created to provide resources to students who would especially benefit from a variety of services to ensure academic achievement.

As a Presidential Scholar, you will have special access to mentoring, tutoring, advising, and more. Additionally, select students may be eligible for a scholarship worth up to $30,000 over four years. The scholarship application is available by invitation only. Please note that applying to SDSU or for the Presidential Scholars program does not bind you to attend SDSU.

Regardless of whether or not you receive the scholarship, you will still benefit from all the other resources available to you as a Presidential Scholar! We will also work with you to make sure you are eligible for other state and federal financial aid and other scholarships throughout your SDSU journey.

This opportunity is not available to everyone!

I've realized the best way to learn is through experience. I really value all of the classes that I am taking, and I’ve already gotten involved in a lot of opportunities on campus: Presidential Scholars, Henrietta Goodwin Scholars, The Daily Aztec, the National Association of Black Journalists, and I'm an R.A. There’s so much you can get involved in here!
