Required Testing
The California State University (CSU) requires
that all first-year freshmen fulfill the Entry-Level Mathematics
(ELM) and English Placement Test (EPT) requirements.
You must fulfill these testing requirements by May 3, 2008. Admitted
applicants who do not fulfill this requirement will have their admission
to SDSU cancelled.
Plan ahead to take the ELM and/or EPT if needed. You may have already
fulfilled one or both of these requirements with SAT or ACT scores.
Plan to take the ELM and/or EPT on one
of the following dates:
- January 19 (register by January 4)
- March 15 (register by February 29)
- April 5 (only at SDSU, register by March 21)
- April 19 (only at SDSU, register by April 4)
- May 3 (register by April 18)
If you need the ELM and/or EPT, you MUST take
the test(s) by May 3, 2008. Please do not risk admission cancellation
by waiting for Advanced Placement scores or college course grades
to come in.
The ELM and EPT are offered at each of the CSU campuses. Registration
information is available at the SDSU
Testing, Assessment & Research Web site.
