Transfer CreditSan Diego State University will accept courses from accredited colleges and universities that are designated as baccalaureate level at the institution where the work was completed. Some courses may be used to meet specific requirements in General Education or the major. Transferable courses that do not meet any specific requirement will be accepted as elective credits. Evaluation of Courses Students who need to submit transcripts for evaluation of courses taken outside SDSU must request official transcripts be sent directly to SDSU from the school. The Academic Advising Center will not accept hand-delivered transcripts.
