Student Disability Access

Graduates, guest and senior citizens with mobility, hearing or other disabilities should contact Student Disability Services by May 1, 2008 for mobility assistance or an American Sign Language interpreter. Wheelchairs Wheelchairs can be checked out at the Cox Arena meeting center. A limited number of chairs are available. To check out a wheelchair you will need a picture ID or a major credit card. Wheelchairs are not to leave the campus and MUST be returned one hour after the ceremony.

Disabled Parking Permits
Candidates or guests with SDSU or State of California disabled parking permits may park in any of the following areas: Parking Lots K, M and Parking Structure 2 on the south side of campus.  A courtesy shuttle will take you to the Commencement sites. Alternative parking is available in Parking Structures 4 and 5; however, shuttle service is not available from these areas.

American Sign Language interpreters will be on stage for each ceremony at Cox Arena. The ASL interpreters will be on the right hand side of the stage as you face the stage.
