Tips to Plan Your Day

To take full advantage of everything Explore SDSU has to offer, keep these helpful tips in mind as you plan your day. Don't forget to RSVP!

Before the Event:

Download the Explore SDSU 2018 app and start planning today!
  • Download the free Explore SDSU Open House app by visiting the App Store and searching for CrowdCompass AttendeeHub. Once the app icon CrowdCompass AttendeeHub appears, press "Get" and the download will begin. Open the AttendeeHub app and type in "ExploreSDSU" in the search bar. Tap the name of the event to load the app.
  • Once you have downloaded the Explore SDSU Open House app, click on the event icons for app icon information sessions and tours, app icon open houses, app icon information fair, and app icon weekend events, to begin planning your day. Create a personalized schedule by tapping the app icon sign next to the name of an information session or tour. View your personalized schedule by tapping My Schedule in the navigation under the app icon "hamburger" icon on the top left of your screen or by tapping app icon at the bottom of the Information Sessions & Tours section.
  • Create a list of specific questions, concerns and interests to help you decide which activities to attend.

The Day of the Event:

  • Wear comfortable shoes—there's a lot of walking.
  • Check the weather and be sure to come prepared.
  • Allow 45 minutes to park and find your first event. There are no check-in requirements the day of the event.
  • Visit an Information Station located throughout campus if you need an agenda or campus map.
  • Plan to be flexible as information sessions and tours are first come, first served, and some will hit maximum capacity.
  • Split up between family and friends to cover more information sessions. You can meet up at the end of the day to share notes.
  • Visit SDSU's bookstore! Hours of operation:
    3/16: 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
    3/17: 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
  • Come prepared to submit your Intent to Enroll at the Prospective Student Center in Student Services West. You will need to have your $400 nonrefundable deposit ready. Both your deposit and the Intent to Enroll will be submitted online via the SDSU WebPortal.
