Student Spotlight

The number of resources available to me here at SDSU along with the lively community on campus is the main reason I chose to attend. Not only do I have a ton of professional development aids on hand, like faculty or clubs, but there are also so many social organizations and such to indulge in my personal interests. I love going to SDSU for the community and the incredible people I have met here.

Hands-on Learning

SDSU students, faculty, and alumni who have been part of the teams that launched an 18-foot rocket that reached 600 mph, landed the Curiosity rover on Mars, and discovered a new flu vaccine. SDSU is also a top producer of Fulbright Scholars, with 100 Fulbright Scholars since 2005.

Research Opportunities

SDSU is designated as a "research university with high research activity" by the Carnegie Foundation. SDSU's professors work alongside students, providing them with the opportunity for learning beyond lesson plans. We also provide all students with opportunities for hands-on learning through research and experiments. This hands-on approach enriches the student experience and better prepares students for life outside of SDSU.
