  Nov. 17, 2014 Spring 2015 basic tuition and fee payments accepted.
  January 7 Spring 2015 registration begins.
  January 16
First day of spring semester.
  January 16 Last day to officially withdraw for the spring 2015 semester and receive a full refund.
  January 17–18 Faculty/staff advising.
  January 19 Holiday—Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
Faculty/staff holiday. Campus closed.
  January 19
Last day of registration before classes begin.
  January 20-Feb. 3
Fee payments accepted for late registration. Last opportunity to pay late basic tuition and fees is February 3.
  January 20
Last day for nonresident (foreign and out-of-state) students to pay deferred tuition and not incur service charges.
  January 21
FIRST DAY OF CLASSES.
  January 30 Last day for faculty to drop students from classes.
  February 1 Applications accepted for bachelor’s degree or advanced degree for December 2015 graduation.
  February 3
Last day to officially withdraw from the university without penalty fee for spring semester 2015.
  February 3
Schedule adjustment deadline. Last day to add, drop, or change grading basis (11:59 p.m. deadline.)

Last day for payment of fees for late registration.
  February 3
Last day to file application for bachelor’s degree or advanced degree for May and August 2015 graduation.

Last day to file petition for concurrent master’s degree credit for spring semester 2015.
  February 17 Census.
  March 24 Last day to officially withdraw from all classes for spring 2015 and receive a prorated refund (withdrawal after February 3 requires special approval and a penalty fee is assessed).

Last day of classes before spring recess.
  March 30-April 3 Spring recess.

Holiday—Cesar Chavez Day.
Faculty/staff holiday. Campus closed.
  April 6 Classes resume.
  April 10
Final day for submitting thesis (without risk) to Montezuma Publishing for thesis review to ensure graduation in May 2015.
  April 13–May 19 Theses may be submitted to Montezuma Publishing on an at-risk basis. However, May 2015 graduation is contingent upon completion of final processing by 12 p.m., May 19 with the $20 processing fee. Students missing this deadline will be required to reapply for graduation for the term in which they expect to graduate.
  April 24 Last day for submission of incomplete and RP grade removals (excluding thesis) for May 2015 graduation with an advanced degree.
  May 7 Last day of classes before final examinations.
  May 7 Last day for reporting results on comprehensive examinations to the Division of Graduate Affairs by department or college.
  May 8–14 Final examinations.
  May 14 Commencement, Imperial Valley Campus.
  May 15 Thesis review process, including publishing, must be completed by 12 noon on this date at Montezuma Publishing to meet graduation requirement.
  May 15–17 Commencement, main campus.
  May 19 Grades due from instructors. (11 p.m. deadline.)
  May 19 Last day to apply for a leave of absence for spring semester 2015.
  May 19 Final day to submit thesis to Montezuma Publishing without having to enroll in Thesis 799B the following semester. (Noon deadline.)
  May 19 Last day of spring semester.
