Veteran Student Housing
Housing for veterans at the Veterans House on Fraternity Row is accepting applications! Check out the floor plans and prices of the apartments.
The complex is co-ed, and residents have access to the Veterans House that has laundry facilities, a grill, pool table and game room, big screen television, and much more. Each apartment also features quality appliances (including refrigerator, oven, range, dishwasher, and microwave); telephone, cable, and high-speed Internet connections; a balcony/patio; central air and heat; and secured access doors. Covered parking, with a security gate, is available.
To apply to live in the Veterans House, you must be an SDSU student and a member of the SVO. If you are not an SVO member, first stop by the Joan and Art Barron Veterans Center and fill out a membership form. Then follow these steps:
- Bring proof of your FAFSA award as well as proof of a service-connected disability to the Joan and Art Barron Veterans Center to obtain a priority form for the apartments.
- Take the priority form and apply to the apartment managers located at 5525 55th Street, San Diego, 92115. You may also complete the application online.
- The apartment management company will provide you with any further information. They can be reached at (619) 487-0245.
If you are interested in veterans housing on campus, but already committed to a current lease, you can still apply for the future. Just use the online application. Priority will be given to veterans that are disabled and/or demonstrate financial need based off of the FAFSA entitlement.
