Aztec Aquaplex
This 112,000-square-foot facility opened in March 2007 as the new home for SDSU's talented women's swimming and water polo teams and as a recreational haven for water lovers.
The Aztec Aquaplex is open daily throughout the year. It features a 51-meter competition pool with a flexible water depth and a beach-entry recreational pool. Students also have access to a diving area, hydrotherapy spa, swim lessons, and water aerobics group exercise classes. The Aztec Aquaplex is also the only campus building to run almost entirely on solar energy.
