Fallen Aztecs are remembered on the Mezzanine level of Aztec Green near the transit center.
SDSU Transit Center
The SDSU Transit Center connects the campus to the bus and trolley routes that serve the greater San Diego area, including the airport, train station and Qualcomm Stadium, where the Aztec football team plays. The SDSU Transit Center has become a popular transportation method for students, who are able to purchase a discounted, unlimited-use semester pass.
Buses stop on the street level mezzanine. The green-line San Diego Trolley stops at the station located 55 feet underground. Trolley riders emerge from the station onto Aztec Green, a one-acre park that serves as a beautiful gateway to campus. The trolley enables students to navigate San Diego without the worry of needing a car.
