Step 1—Accept Offer of Admission
Complete Your Intent to Enroll
To officially accept your offer of admission, all admitted students must submit the online Intent to Enroll by the deadline indicated in the SDSU WebPortal. If you do not submit the Intent to Enroll by the deadline, it will be assumed that you do not plan to attend SDSU and your offer of admission will be canceled.
The Intent to Enroll requires a $400 non-refundable and non-transferable fee, paid electronically through the SDSU WebPortal. The $400 deposit will be applied toward your fall basic tuition and fees.
Within 48 hours of submitting your Intent to Enroll, visit the SDSUid website to activate your SDSUid account. The SDSU WebPortal, Blackboard, Library Portal, and several other campus applications will require you to use your SDSUid to log in.
Note: While some programs may require admitted students to notify them if they intend on attending, the official acceptance of the offer of admission can only be done through the online Intent to Enroll in the SDSU WebPortal. In these cases admitted students must complete both requirements to officially accept the offer of admission.
Final Official Transcripts
- If you are an applicant with a bachelor's degree in progress at the time of admission, you are required to complete the degree prior to enrolling in your first semester at SDSU. A final official transcript with proof of degree, must be provided to Graduate Admissions no later than the end of the first semester of enrollment. Failure to submit the final transcript will result in a registration hold being placed on the you record.
Applicants who do not complete the bachelor's degree prior to enrolling are not eligible for admission. There are no exceptions to this policy.
- If you are an applicant with any other course work in progress at the time of admission, you are required to provide a final official transcript to Graduate Admissions no later than the end of the first semester of enrollment.
