SDSU admission requirements for first-time freshmen
SDSU ranks applicants by a combination of GPA and SAT/ACT test scores. Applicants must also complete the pattern of college preparatory curriculum (a–g courses).

SDSU admission requirements for transfer students
Transfer admission is based on a specific set of requirements including major GPA, General Education, preparation for major courses, and major impaction criteria.
Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG)
Certain undergraduate students transferring from SDSU service-area community colleges in the fall term are guaranteed admission to SDSU.
Cross Enrollment Program
Undergraduate students enrolled in the California Community Colleges or the University of California may cross-enroll at SDSU without formal admission.
