How to Apply
First, follow the graduate steps to apply.
Then, submit to the department:
- Statement of purpose (250-500 words) which demonstrates an understanding of the SDSU program and which shows interest in an area of research that is within the department's scope of expertise
- Two letters of recommendation sent directly from the recommenders (who can evaluate the applicant's academic potential) to the Linguistics Department Graduate Advisor
Fall 2013 Deadline
Step 1: CSUMentor Application—March 1
Step 2 and 3: File Completion—April 1
All application materials including departmental requirements must be submitted by the file completion date.
Domestic Applicants: Closed
